Coleman is a native of Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in her A-levels. In a discussion about her appearance on Emmerdale, Coleman admitted she was regretting having not gone to University. Coleman became a member of the theater group, In Yer Space while at school. They performed during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. She was awarded an award for her performance while the show was received favourably. Coleman was offered the role as Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while trying out for drama classes in 2005. Coleman was twice nominated for prizes in 2007. She was nominated for two awards. British Soap Awards nominated her as best newcomer. At the National Television Awards, she was also nominated most popular newcomer. In 2009 she won nominated in the two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman won a TV Choice Award for Best Actress. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21st, 2012 that Coleman was going to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other actors left the show. Moffat selected her for the role because she is the most effective in her interactions with Smith and was able to speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the film industry since 1987. But, she's more known for TV projects instead of films. Of the many roles Eva has appeared in on television shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which make an impression. The role that she first appeared on television earned two Daytime Emmy nominations, and gave her the opportunity to explore the love of music in her. Eva is an entrepreneur, and also an actor. Eva has three husbands, and an infant from the third.
