Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She previously co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage on both the presidential and 2012 elections. Bolduan was a correspondent from Washington, DC covering activities in Congress, the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan covered congressional and legislative events, such as discussions on raising the debt ceiling of the US and the super committee's discussions. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare and the 2009 implementation of the stimulus plan. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. As an CNN Newsource correspondent, she covered breaking news stories as well as produced feature stories to over 800 CNN Newsource members. Ealier she worked with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. She resides in New York City, with her husband and their two kids.
