
Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born on October 1 1989) popularly referred to as Brie Larson, is an American actress. When she was a teenager she was a star in supporting roles in comedy films. Since then, she has gone to take on leading roles in blockbuster films and independent films. Larson has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Academy Award. A Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named Larson one of the 100 most influential individuals in the world in the year 2019. Larson, who was only six years old was the youngest student to join a course of study at American Conservatory Theater. She began her acting career on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 1998. She also appeared on the sketch comedy. In 2001, she appeared as an actor in the show Raising Dad. She also had a brief stint in music, following the release of her album Finally Out of P.E. in 2005. Larson later played minor roles in the comedy films Hoot (2006) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and 21 Jump Street (2012) in addition to a role as an sardonic teenage in the television show United States of Tara (2009-2011).Her breakthrough came with a leading role in the critically-acclaimed independent drama Short Term 12 (2013) in which she would take on supporting parts in the romantic comedy The Spectacular Now (2013) as well as the comedy Trainwreck (2015). Larson was honored with the Academy Award for Best Actress in the role of the kidnapping victim of the drama Room (2015). The 2017 adventure film Kong, Skull Island was her first big-budget movie. She then starred in Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe (2019).
